Not In Chains

Not In Chains

“I aborted for him twice because he said he would marry me and that he is not ready to be a father yet. Each time I accepted, he showered me with so much love that I got so fooled to believe him,” Blessing said as tears rolled down on the wedding invitation before her. “Will God ever forgive me?” She looked up as if seeking approval or disapproval.

“Someone in chains is someone in confusion, caught in the web of the enemy, tempted and fallen… I know you profess to be a Christian, but you don’t have a regenerated heart; that is why the enemy keeps making a mess of your life. But the good news is that God is ready and will forgive you if you submit to Him (1 John 1:9).”

“The life we live is being monitored by the enemy, and every step is being watched. Any slight laxity, the enemy rushes in like a soldier. Whether we believe it or not, a person in chains is accursed. Ask David! David was just walking innocently on the top of his roof when the enemy opened his eyes to see what he was not supposed to see. He not only committed adultery but also committed murder, unaware of the consequences that would befall him. The enemy caught him up in chains. If not for the mercy of God, he would have been a castaway.”

“Whether you are a child of God toiling with secret sins or you don’t even know Jesus at all, as far as God is concerned, you are in the same category. 1 John 3:8 makes it clear: ‘He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.'”

“Why is the enemy peddling with you and helping you to fall for? And you are there smiling. You are being tied in chains of fornication, adultery, lies, deceit, envy, jealousy, drunkenness, sexual immorality, unfaithfulness, ungratefulness, pride, lust, hatred, rage, idolatry, selfishness, discord, impurity, witchcraft, disobedience, and the like. It’s the work of the flesh that needs to be destroyed in your life (Galatians 5:19-20).”

“Cry to God for help today, before the judgment bell rings. Adam and Eve didn’t have a second chance as you have now. David didn’t go scot-free; his children rose against him, and he started running from his own sons… his sins brought this upon him.”

“But, in order not to be in this mess, Jesus Christ already paid the price for you. Now you can ask for forgiveness, and His blood will erase your sins, and every chain of sin will be broken in your life, but you have to take a step of faith. Jesus did not die so that you can continue in sin and go to hell; He died so you can have life, and He rose again so you can enjoy eternity with God. Take the bold step today:

1. Believe Jesus Christ came to the world to die for your sins and to reconcile you to God (Matthew 11:28).

2. Confess your sins to Him.

3. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

4. Ask Him to come and reign in your life.

5. Cry for help to deliver you from every secret sin.

It’s that time of the year, when you can rewrite your destiny by allowing God to take you’re your life. Let Him!; please don’t let the death and resurrection of Jesus be in vain in your life.” – Home – kfpark.com
