I heard a documentary of a leader in a nation, who said; “…there is so much God in all that we do”. That statement made me rejoice. Despite he was saying it as a warning, because to him, having so much God in all you do can lead to mediocrity…That is his own opinion. But I would like to realign his opinion through the following points:
- God is the creator of Heaven and the Earth. Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Therefore, God has to be in it.
- God will never create a world in which He will not be needed. God will always be at the centre of what He created, because He is just and perfect God who will not want anything to happen to his creation. Hence, He will always make Himself available in all that we do when we call Him to it so it will be perfect as He wants it. Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
- God is a great and mighty King. He will never put Himself in a position of dishonour, where nothing matters to Him? Everything matters to God. That is why He can use even stones to cry out. Luke 18:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
- Because God is needed in the world He created. That is why He gave a manual of how we should act and behave. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
- When everything revolves around God, it is good, and once it is good, it succeeds. Genesis 1:31a God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good and He validated it completely.
Our focus this month is CHARACTER. The godly character we should display as Children of God, according to Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
There is something about Genesis 5:24 that baffles me; And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
We will be discussing more of having the right attitude towards God, other people, other Christians, challenges and temptations… the topics below will be our flow zone;
