A man can work with the wise and not be wise, but no man will walk with the wise and not be wise…FP
I likened wisdom to people you walk with, because our work and walk with others are one of the things that expose the quality of our lives. Whatever attitude you have as a man(human), all that you do boils down to intentions, motives and aspirations/goals. These are what guide your actions.
When this is in play, CHARACTER bags it or house it. It then follows that, what a man does or does not do begin to define his personality, his person and his achievements.
When you walk in the image of God, you act in the character of God, when you act in the character of GOD, you shine as light.

but for the purpose of this study, we will discuss character in light of WISDOM.
Wisdom can be equated to the following; Experience, Knowledge and Good judgement
When anyone displays the above, we automatically say the person is wise. But not all who has the above are truly wise.
There is spiritual concept of wisdom and character. So, what then is wisdom? The bible says; Godliness with contentment is a great gain.
We need to know that it is wisdom to have good and godly character. There are many moralists, but how many are truly godly. Some won’t even profess any religion, yet they have good moral standing. What shaped that attitude and character is culture not godliness. But in the Kingdom, what should shape our CHARACTER is the WORD OF GOD.
The explanation of wisdom is scattered in the bible;
- Proverbs 9:10 clearly states it that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
- Giving is wisdom There was a King in the Bible, who as a result of giving, ask God for wisdom and became the wisest king that ever lived. Giving has opened many great doors. II Chronicles 1
- He who win souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30
- There are battles to fight in life, but when you know the right weapon to use, victory is as good as won. James 4:7 says, when you submit totally to God, He will give you victory over the devil, that is wisdom. David said in II Samuel 24:14 that he would rather fall into the hands of God, than any other man, because He is a merciful God. That is wisdom.
- When you give your life to Jesus, that is a great wisdom. It is wisdom to see death and run to Life(Jesus). John 3:16, James 4:7

How can I get Wisdom?
- Become a fool by desiring God passionately. When you choose to obey God, wisdom is your portion.
- Jesus is the wisdom of God. When you get Jesus, you get wisdom. I Corinthians 1:12&14
- Through brokenness.
The Bible says, when the ways of a man pleases the Lord, He makes his enemies to be at peace with him. May your ways pleases the Lord and may you be at peace with God, man and yourself in Jesus name.
Confession: I walk in the character of God that brings freedom from sin and bring me alive unto righteousness.
Prayer: Father! Help me to mode my CHARACTER and walk in your likeness.
