Definitely the lockdown due to the pandemic (Covid – 19) has affected our worship centers and programmes in various churches all over the world, especially in Nigeria.
RCCG, the largest congregation church in Nigeria has given out slight adjustment in their programmes both weekly and annual programmes. Indeed! We are an unstoppable generation shinning as light in this world.
The report from the meeting held by senior pastors in RCCG is as follows:
Dearly beloved,
Following the virtual meeting of the National Overseer with Senior Pastors held on Thursday 2nd July, 2020, kindly take note of the following for your immediate action:
– Annual Ministers Conference starts on Thursday 30th July, 2020
– Annual Ministers Conference continues till 1st August, 2020
– Annual Convention starts on Monday 3rd August, 2020 from 7pm
– Annual Convention continues daily till Sunday 9th August, 2020
– Both Annual Ministers Conference and Annual Convention will be on Dove tv, and all other social media platform of the church
– The following activities are hereby postponed
• Ordination
• Creation of *Provinces
• Transfer
• Promotion
• Long Service Award
• Graduation
– Ministers prayers for convention will still be held virtually
– In other to have the feeling of convention, brethren may gather at their churches in states where such gathering are allowed, with full compliance to the number and other protocols of COVID-19
– No employment for now
– Assistance for sale of Open Heavens
– Work on digitalization and online services
– All CSR activities should be reported
