Text: Isaiah 9:6
The first name mentioned there is WONDERFUL, this is the combination of two words, wonder and full, wonderful means, full of wonders. You don’t have to be told that everything about God is wonderful, according to Psalm 107:8.
01. His testimonies are wonderful, Psalm 119:129.
02. His knowledge is wonderful, Psalm 139:6He knows everything about us, that’s why we will gather in millions and God will pick your case among so many and give you the solution
03. His counsel, wonderful, Isaiah 28:29
Seven things about God that is wonderful.
- The wonders of his size. The only way to describe His size is wonderful.How long are His legs, Isaiah 66:1
- His hands, Deut 33:27
- His nose is wonderful, Exodus 15:8, when He breath, the sea parted.
- His ears,
- How big is He, Himself put together, II Chronicles 16:18. Our God is very, very Big.
As big as He is, He can make Himself small enough to dwell in you, but He does not loose His greatness. I John 4:4
It means, He is bigger than Corona Virus.
02. The wonders of His love. I John 4:8. He is love Himself. He is the love that is willing to give His all. John 3:16, Romans 8:32.
This love is so great, that He sacrificed Himself for us while we were yet sinners. Romans 5:7-8, John 15:13, John 13:1
Its only God’s kind of love that will last till the end. If you are one of the people He loves, He will set you up for major breakthroughs. II Chronicles 1:6-15, II Samuel 12:24-25, when God loves you, He gives you a blessing that no one can complain.
May the Almighty God set you up for a great breakthrough.
Romans 8:37 emphasized that we are more than conquerors, it means you will never lose any battle again. If God fights with you, you will win, and if God is against you or neutral, you will loose. You have victory without a fight. David and Goliath in I Samuel 17, but more than conqueror means, you don’t fight at all, you win without a fight.
03. Wonders of His Mercy. If God wants to boast, He could boast about how rich He is, or how powerful He is Psalm 91, but when He wants to talk about real wealth, He talks about mercy, Ephesians 2:4-6, Lamentation 3:22-23. We aren’t consumed because of His mercy. May you continue to enjoy the mercy of God.
The following passages shows how great His mercy was. Genesis 19:15-16, Mark 10:46-52, Mark 1:40-45, Matthew 15:21-28, Acts 11:2-18. God can bring the future to now in His mercy. James 2:13.
04. Wonders of His Glory. I Timothy 6:16, Acts 22:6, Isaiah 6:1-3 even angels cover their faces from His glory so it wont destroy them. Only Jesus can take you to His glory not angels. I Kings 8:10-11, I Samuel 5:2-5, I Corinthians 15:41. As glorious as stars were, you can Revelation 22:16 says He is the bright and morning start
Proverbs 3:35 says there’s no glory in shame, Colossians 1:27 says He is your hope of glory. It means anything called shame will be kept far away from you.
- 05. Wonders of His name. His name is so wonderful.
- His names are many. Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8.Everyone of His name was meaningful. John 14:6. He is the way out of trouble, lockdown, sickness, sorrow, barrenness, poverty, failure, defeat…He is also the way into joy, peace, success, promotion and anything beautiful including Heaven…He is also a way where there’s no way. II Corinthians 13:8. People have really struggled to erase His name from the world, but have failed. Meanwhile, the fact that He is the way guarantees your freedom. John 8:32, 36, John 1:14, the grace of God brings truth. No matter what you try, the truth will always remain the same. You are saved to be Holy. John 11:25. There’s no one too dead that Jesus cannot raise.
- His names are powerful. Phil 2:9-11, John 14:14. When you find yourself under sudden attack, you can shout His name.
- 06. The wonder of His blood. Leviticus 17:11. The life of Jesus is in His blood, I John 1:7, saves and cleanses from all sins. That blood of over 2000 years ago is still powerful. Exodus 12:13. The blood of Jesus guarantees your security. Hebrews 10:19, that blood grants you access to the holiest, the bedroom of the most High.
Revelation 12:10-11. The blood guarantees victory over Satan.
- 07. Wonders of His Anger. It doesn’t matter what any body may tell you, God is not Father-Christmas. Hebrews 12:6, if He love you, he can Revelation 3:19. Don’t mess with God. If God loves you, He will not leave you on your own. Proverbs 29:15, Hebrews 12:29, 10:31. Don’t joke with God nor anything that has to do with Him. Don’t toil with sin. Proverbs 29:1. Ezekiel 33:11, He has no pleasure in the death of a sinner. Don’t be deceived, God can be angry, Psalm 7:11. When He shows his anger, its always in a wonderful way, Sodom and Gomorrah, Acts 5:1-11
Prayer: God, Don’t let me ever annoy you.
God can be wonderfully angry, watch your steps.
